unbirth
a
yellow steel cage
rolls
by at sunset
sharp
white tractor beams
light the slow advance
of
an inevitable machine
turning
under corn
left
over winter
most
of what came up
that
dry season
never
made market
some
was cut for feed
the
rest left standing
for
deer and birdsong
in
this quiet valleyonce green leaves
needed
summer rain
but
autumn winds
rustled
thin gold shafts
and
late in December
buck
and doe
scratched
for food
among grey-yellow stalks
the
verdict
carried
out tonight
in
a mechanical rumble
I
hear the final rattle
of
life not appreciated

Unbirth March 2012 T-TH Intro. Draw. Renee Key
As the sunsets, the sky transforms the blue to purplish blue. The clouds shift from white to burnt orange. Above the almost barren corn field, the clouds move towards the horizon as if they are setting with the sun. The golden field of left over corn resembles the sand meeting ocean as the breeze swiftly moves the images towards the vanishing point.
A sunset this seems to want to drop from the sky and a depth of field that goes on forever and pinkness goes on forever in the sky! Very much appeals to your eyes.
The way that each season have it own birth is very interesting to know what truly happens with each season that we.The items such as flowers die each winter and come back to life each summer.the way each season interact with one and other is so beautiful.
I love the way the clouds lay against the sunset in this composition. The lighting and shadows work perfectly with the rest of the piece. The colors also depict an actual sunset extremely well, too.
